4 Of My Favourite Jamaican Novels
Written By Jenissa Sullivan
Originally, I planned to write this post in time for Jamaica’s Independence Day, which fell on this past Monday. However, I was so busy with launching the Ancestral Memory online store that it was not feasible anymore. So I considered waiting until next year to publish the piece but I decided that it would be nice to celebrate Jamaica’s performance at the Olympics with this round-up of some of my favourite novels about Jamaica by Jamaicans. These books span many centuries of JA’s rich history and do a stellar job of capturing the intricacies of life on the island.
Have you read any of these novels by Jamaican authors? What are some of your favourite Jamaican novels?
