Pink Silk Blazer, Camisole & Red Pants

When it comes to colour blocking, the combination I like most is pink & red. In case I have not let on ;) pink is my favourite colour (especially fuchsia) and I like reds (especially those on the coral side). To some the combination of pink and red may be too Valentine-y. I get that but I think there are ways of executing the combo that make it less saccharine. Take this outfit for instance. The blazer’s silk fabric and the Eastern inspired neckline add sophistication. In pink, those elements are fun and slightly irreverent. The faux snakeskin purse, strappy kitten heels and Kundan earrings make the look as fit for a bash as for business.
