Multicoloured Striped Wrap Dress
Dresses like this must be some of the easiest, prettiest clothes in existence. Even if that’s up for debate, what is without a doubt is that they’re some of my favourite items of clothing to wear. They’re non-fussy, versatile and flirtatious. Although I don’t usually reach for dresses that are very short, this one is mini enough to be be fun but not mini enough to have me feeling uncomfortable or self conscious.
This particular dress is one of the items I thrifted this Summer and I know that I will find myriad ways to style it. That’s always a sign of a good thrift store find. On this particular occasion, I kept things somewhat simple in the accessories department (well simple for me). I returned to my brass bangles and one of my go-to hoops. An “Om” pendant necklace, purchased in T&T a few years ago, was the final piece of jewelry I added for a lil’ extra bling. A pink woven bag that I scored in Morocco but don’t wear nearly enough sprinkled another dash of colour and cream braided heels provided a non-matchy finishing touch that kept the outfit from looking too put together.
