Pink Shirt dress

Apart from maxi dresses, my other favourite type of dresses are shirt dresses. They work nicely in a business setting without being too conservative or stuffy. Now that I am on the path of self employment as a creative entrepeneur and I no longer have to wear a uniform, I am excited about the prospect of expressing my style when working. I like the slightly sexy sophistication that shirt dresses lend. These dresses can also easily go from work to play. I am especially drawn to shirt dresses in bold colours. Vividly hued ones are great canvases for styling.

Case in point, this fuchsia beauty. It’s a statement piece by itself. Combined with a woven bag , leopard print shoes and brass jewelry, it’s captivating.
