Hibiscus Blouse & Cut Off Shorts

If there is one colour combination that always appeals to me, it’s pink and red. Regardless of the season, the mix is a mainstay in my closet. This particular iteration brings to mind the tropics. The bold hibiscus flowers against the pink background remind me of my mother’s garden in the Caribbean. I spied the blouse on the Goodwill racks in perfect time for a weekend getaway to the Virgin Islands. Pink cut-off’s (made from jeans I found during the same thrift store trip) added to the insouciance. A Banjara clutch, rope sandals and my favourite brass jewelry completed the cool boho girl look.
